Lincolnshire is in Lake Country in the state of Illinois. The village is divided into two by the Des Plaines River which runs directly from the north to the south. The village is also divided into two by the Illinois Route 22 which dissects it from east to west.
The population of the village is estimated to be around 7, 275, but the day population could be as high as 20,000 people, owing to the presence of many global corporations, including Zebra Technologies, Sysmex, CDW, and Aon Hewitt amongst others.
Lincolnshire is also known to host a number of popular annual events, with the major ones being the Boo Bash, Art Festival and 4th of July Celebration. All these attract thousands of people into the village of Lincolnshire every year.
It is also worth pointing out that the landscapes in the village are authentic in every manner, with large forested areas and swathes of green sprawling most of the uninhibited spaces. As a result, most residents planning weddings are never short of beautiful wedding grounds and couples have also been known to come from other states and villages just to hold their wedding in this village.
